We also learn Odd and Even differently, by sliding a finger from below, up through the pairs of counters, we push up the number above (ie-4 would be pushed up). But for number 5, the single counter would prevent us from doing that. Therefore, all the even numbers will be pushed up at the end. Just a different way to do the same thing!
